CARE

Step 11 of the 12-Step Christ Intentional Living Plan

TENDER LOVING CHRIST

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” — Jesus Christ, Savior of the World, Luke 4:18-19

Are God and Christ JUST gorgeous or what? God (The Lord) anointed Christ just so He (Christ) can do good things for us, mere humans. God is so unbelievably good that, at times, you want to pinch Him to make sure that He’s real. He IS real, but you get what we mean. And Jesus? This is the very being who left His Father’s lavish pad to come and give each one of us daily and eternal peace of mind by dying an atrocious death on the cross. Something, by the way, He absolutely did not have to do. We, humans, messed up with God, not Jesus—but us. Yet, He still suffered a brutal death to right things between God and us.

MY TLC

If you’re feeling down, if life’s oppressing you, please get in touch with us.

Keep sharing the love and all the goodness you are receiving from God through Christ to get even more! Christ says in Luke 6:38 to give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Claim that goodness by giving something to eat to the hungry and something to drink to the thirsty. Go the extra mile by helping strangers in need whichever way you can, giving clothes to those who need them, looking after the sick and visiting prisoners.

TLC TRIBES

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” — Jesus Christ, Savior of the World, Matthew 25:34-36

TLC Tribes pray and fast for God’s people, their communities and the world in Christ’s Name. We are also Jesus Christ’s sheep and practice Matthew 25:34-36. We give something to eat to the hungry. We give something to drink to the thirsty. We help strangers in need in whichever way we can. We give clothes to those that need them. We look after the sick. We visit prisoners.
